Our story

The story of Joseleene and George

A short telling of how we got here, in the order it happened.

How we met

One thing we can’t agree on (probably never will), is who made the first move?! But it doesn’t really matter now that we’re here 😂. Big shoutout to Jack Dorsey for inventing Twitter - the platform that brought us together. A friendship on the timeline based on banter and hidden mutual attraction turned into something even more wholesome and steadier. Somewhere between the long talks and the shared laughter, we both knew this was different. The vibe was just correct and we’re just grateful to the Almighty for leading us to each other.

Growing together

We came to know each other's families, favourite foods and funny habits. Little by little, we built a life out of small routines and big plans.

The Roora

On 24 October 2026, with our elders, families and friends around us, we marked the start of our marriage the traditional way.

Thank you to everyone who made that day unforgettable.

The Roora

The day our families came together

The Roora is the traditional ceremony that joins two families. It was the first of our wedding celebrations, and we are glad to share it here.
